Building Power through Organized Labor to Address Inequality

Nicole Grant is the executive treasurer of the M.L.King County Labor Council and a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW). She joins Seattle 500 Women Scientists and UW Postdocs United (UAW 4121) to lead a discussion on the barriers to equity in the workplace, and the role of the labor movement in Seattle, King County, and Washington State in building power against the anti-science, anti-women, anti-immigrant rhetoric of the present-day political climate.
