What does it take to succeed as a woman in STEM fields? How do you get started on your career path, and how do you know if you're headed in the right direction? At this event, women working in STEM will talk about how they got to where they are today. They will share their personal and professional journeys with you in an informal environment with plenty of space for discussion and questions. This event is open to people of all ages and genders, but may be of particular interest to young women who are thinking about going into a STEM profession, as well as their parents and mentors.
Speakers include:
Andrea Munro, associate professor of physical chemistry at Pacific Lutheran University
Alejandra Quetzalli, Full-Stack developer at CDKGlobal and the founder of sheCodesNow
Katherine Pratt, electrical engineering PhD candidate at University of Washington
This venue is kid- and dog-friendly, so invite all your friends and family!
